ALCRONA coating provides excellent wear resistance and thermal shock stability, allowing for improved tool lifetime in high speed machining applications.
DATRON single flute ALCRONA coated end mills are developed for high speed machining in harder non-ferrous alloys, such as bronze, copper and zinc, however can be used as a general purpose tool for applications in aluminium, brass, wood and composites. Unique single flute geometry improves chip evacuation, allowing for higher feed rates and chip loads.
