The DATRON ALCRONA coated engraving tool is best for high quality, detailed engraving in hard materials such as composites, harder non-ferrous alloys and steel alloys.
These tools are suited to specialty applications producing shallow engraving in hard materials such as steel alloys, composites and bronze.
ALCRONA coating provides excellent wear resistance and thermal shock stability, allowing for improved tool lifetimes in high speed machining applications.
DATRON ALCRONA coated engraving tools are available in either 30° or 45° cutting angles, with a tip point diameter of either 0.1mm (100 micron) or 0.2mm (200 micron).
DATRON CNC tooling is developed and manufactured by DATRON in Germany using the highest quality, micro-grain VHM carbide.
