The DATRON thread specific single point threadmill is best for applications requiring interior or exterior threads in soft metals, harder non-ferrous alloys, plastics and wood.
The DATRON thread specific single point threadmill utilises a single point, multi flute cutting geometry, allowing for a range of thread pitches to be cut by a single threadmill.
These tools are ideal for precision thread applications. Thread specific threadmills are optimised for cutter core rigidity allowing for accurate threads to be cut into holes or exterior surfaces with minimal cutting passes.
These threadmills are suitable for micro thread applications, and are available in all thread diameters from M1 to M12+.
DATRON CNC tooling is developed and manufactured by DATRON in Germany using the highest quality, micro-grain VHM carbide.
