The DATRON single flute end mill is ideal as an economy tool for roughing and small diameter finishing in soft metals, plastics and wood.
The DATRON single flute end mill standard range is ideal for small diameter tools (less than 3mm) in high RPM machining applications. The DATRON single flute end mill range provides options down to 0.3mm diameter at a range of cutting depths.
Balanced single flute tooling is highly recommended for cutting tool diameters above 5mm and at high spindle RPM to minimise vibration and spindle bearing wear.
DATRON single flute end mills are developed for high speed machining in non-ferrous materials such as aluminium, wood, plastic, copper, brass and bronze. Unique single flute geometry improves chip evacuation, allowing for higher feed rates and chip loads.
