Single flute end mill, standard, necked

The DATRON single flute necked end mill is ideal as a tool for roughing and finishing deep pockets and channels in soft metals, plastics and wood.

The long reach, necked (reduced diameter) geometry allows for clearance above the cutting flute between the tool and stock wall. These tools are best suited for special applications requiring a long reach into the workpiece.

DATRON single flute end mills are developed for high speed machining in non-ferrous materials such as aluminium, wood, plastic, copper, brass and bronze. Unique single flute geometry improves chip evacuation, allowing for higher feed rates and chip loads.
