Collection: DATRON Solid carbide drill, 6mm shank

The DATRON solid carbide drill is best for precision deep hole drilling in soft metals, harder non-ferrous alloys, plastics and wood.

In applications where large numbers of precision holes are required, DATRON carbide drills are an ideal solution. Repetitive drilled holes are machined faster using a drill, and will provide a more consistent diameter when compared to interpolated holes using an end mill.

These solid carbide drills are capable of deep hole drilling at diameters ranging between 2.9mm to 6.0mm. Available in multiple cutting flute lengths, some tools feature greater than 7xD drill depths.

The DATRON solid carbide drill range provides 0.1mm (100 micron) increments between 2.9mm to 6.0mm drill diameters.

DATRON CNC tooling is developed and manufactured by DATRON in Germany using the highest quality, micro-grain VHM carbide.
