Collection: DATRON Double flute end mill, standard, necked
The DATRON double flute end mill is an excellent tool for roughing and finishing deep pockets and channels in soft metals, harder non-ferrous alloys, plastics and wood.
The long reach, necked (reduced diameter) geometry allows for clearance above the cutting flute between the tool and stock wall. These tools are best suited for special applications requiring a long reach into the workpiece.
The DATRON double flute end mill is balanced, with a rigid carbide core. This large core provides the tool with great milling stability even at smaller diameters, and in harder non-ferrous alloys such as bronze, copper and zinc. These tools are ideal for milling applications making lighter cuts, such as for wall finishing.
DATRON CNC tooling is developed and manufactured by DATRON in Germany using the highest quality, micro-grain VHM carbide.
